Must be a pattern for more simple and, at the same time, more gracious living: new but suitable to living conditions as they might so well be in the country we live in today. This needed house of moderate cost must sometime face reality. The houses built by the million. Do no such thing. To me such houses are “escapist” houses, putting on some style or other, really having none. A style is not. There is all the difference when we work with style and not for a style. ACME Studio 150 FLW Special Edition Roller Ball by Frank Lloyd Wright NEW

ACME Studio “150 FLW” Special Edition Roller Ball by Frank Lloyd Wright NEW. Standard Roller Ball Pen, is a one of a kind design from Frank Lloyd Wright. It celebrates the 150th anniversary o. F Frank Lloyd Wright’s birthday. The red, black, and white design is printed over a shiny chrome pen. Although there is no numbering on the pen, this is part of a one time special edition run of 150 pens. This will only be available for a limited amount of time. Artist’s signature is engraved on the cap band and “ACME”. Is on the clip. The pen is presented in a metal Frank Lloyd Wright tin with a black sleeve and ACME literature. Since only 150 of these pens will ever be made, they needed to be different and special so they were printed on chrome. The ink does not adhere as well as it normally does on the raw brass, so a little more care needs to be given to this pen than any of our other pens. A portion of the proceeds from sales of this product support the Foundation’s conversation and education programs. Started in 1985, ACME Studio is an international product design company, producing and marketing writing instruments, and other design objects. Its products are the result of cooperation with the worlds leading architects, designers, artists, foundations, estates and institutions. The stainless steel case is elegantly crafted with brushed and polished silver-tone accents. The intricate dial design, with wood-tone accents, is inspired by the floating, intersecting circles with square elements from an original rug Wright designed for the Hoffman House in Rye, New York, 1957. The rug was only manufactured after his death and is on display at Taliesin in Spring Green, WI. The second hand also features a Wright design element and a uniquely placed 24-hour subdial adds character. The finely-stitched leather strap in espresso brown has a deployant buckle for secure closure. Water resistant to 30 meters. The watch is presented in a 150th anniversary commemorative wood veneer box, with the Hoffman rug design debossed on the lid and finished in natural cherry. Frank Lloyd Wright Collection. 35 x 48 mm.
