Ebros Frank Lloyd Wright Metal Framed Magazine Cover Page May Basket Stained Glass Art with Wooden Base As Desktop Plaque Or Metal Chain Hanging Wall Decor Modern Architecture. This Frank Lloyd Wright May Basket Metal Framed Stained Glass vividly recreates one of Wright’s most popular designs. This graphic design, “May Basket”, was one of twelve magazine covers designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1927 for Liberty magazine. Although they were not published at that time, these designs have proved to be timeless. Wright developed two of them into rug designs in 1955, and they and others have been adapted for other products as well. On this glass panel, enamel colors are individually applied to a single sheet of glass which is then kiln fired to permanently fuse the enamels to the glass. The glass is then metal framed and and includes a hanging chain and a wooden base. You can use this art masterpiece as a desktop plaque or as a wall hanging accent decor. The measurements of this beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright May Basket Glass art are: GLASS: 10″ Tall x 10″ Wide x 0.25 Thick. The wooden base is 10.25″ wide, 0.25″ high and 2.75 deep. Together, the stained glass art with base weighs 1.5 pounds. Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging. Please keep the receipt. Original drawing by Frank Lloyd Wright for the design of the Rayward House, TIRRANNA New Canaan, Connecticut (1955) signed and dated by Frank Lloyd Wright. This is an original drawing not a Blueprint. Page N5 titled sections. Original drawing by the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright, including handwritten notes on constructive details. Made in pencil, colored pencils and ink. Frank Lloyd Wrigh (1867 – 1959) was an American architect, one of the leading masters of twentieth-century architecture. Precursor of organic architecture, initiator of the Prairie School movement, developing the Usonian concept of housing. Considered one of the most important architects in history, with an extensive list of works that he created mainly in the first half of the twentieth century, being the author of buildings as the well-known Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Waterfall House (Fallingwater) or the Tokyo Imperial Hotel. In 2017, the MOMA in New York held the exhibition Frank Lloyd Wright, Unpacking the Archive, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of his birth, where numerous drawings similar to this one were shown. This drawing corresponds to the design of the Rayward house, also known as Tirranna, built in New Canaan, Connecticut in 1955 for Joyce and John Rayward. In this house you can appreciate the essence of the concept of Wright’s organic architecture in which all the technical detail of the architectural and engineering work merges with the art of creating new forms that integrate with the surrounding nature. This drawing is titled “Sections”. It is signed and dated. Provenance: Heritage Auctions (October 2018, lot #79103). Frank Lloyd Wright Mamah Borthwick Cheney Slain By Servant 1914 Front Page

This very rare front page came from an August 16, 1914 New York Herald newspaper. The newspaper page may exhibit some chipping and paper loss on the edges. The page is in very good to excellent condition but is delicate and should be handled with the utmost care. Please look at the listing photos for condition detail. Please keep in mind that newspapers from this era tend to have high acid content partly due to how the paper was made and partly due to the absorption of pollutants. This combination results in the deterioration of the paper over time making it increasingly brittle especially on the edges. As a result, these pages must be handled with the utmost care due to their delicate nature. Please use due care when removing the pages from the tube and the plastic sleeve. The primary listings in my store are vintage newspapers and newspaper pages that contain historical events, comics and advertisements. My store also contains other vintage collectibles including bottles, militaria and paper ephemera. I will be adding new listings daily. The item “Frank Lloyd Wright Mamah Borthwick Cheney Slain By Servant 1914 Front Page” is in sale since Saturday, September 29, 2018.
