This is a vintage sterling silver locket pendant and necklace with a Frank Lloyd Wright inspired modernist etching on the front. This was a collection issued by the Museum of Modern Art in New York via the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, and the signatures of both institutions are marked inside the locket. The facade of the pendant features a design reminiscent of many of Frank Lloyd Wright’s designs and buildings, particularly the geometric stylings featured in many of the windows of his buildings. The locket is hinged on the left side; it opens and snaps shut easily. The thick rope-style chain is threaded through the locket and is very lightweight. The chain clasps with a small lobster claw closure. This piece of jewelry is in good vintage condition. There is one very small kink in the chain near the closure. There is a matching pair of earrings that make this a set, as pictured in the photographs. The pendant is threaded through a 17 inch chain, and the locket measures. 75 inches long and.
