Wright’s rendering of a column from the Unity Temple, an iconic early masterpiece in Oak Park, Illinois. From my online research, it is my understanding that only 51 copies of this poster were made and they were not made commercially available. I removed the frame to photograph the back of the poster. Minor wear consistent with age. There may be a mild faint tanning but the back of the poster says it is printed on “creme suede” so it is difficult to say for certain. Colors are crisp and not faded. Slight rippling on the upper right side of poster. Frame is metal and the poster is under plexiglass held in place with foam board. Minor scuffing to plexiglass. As can be seen in picture #8. There is a small chip to one of the corners of the. Plexiglass that is barely visible due to frame.. I saw online where someone had laminated their poster to the foam board. The poster is not attached to the foam board making it easy for you to re-frame should you so desire. In reference to the information printed on the back of the poster it says under the production information 6500 impressions per hour. I believe that is in reference to what the press is capable of doing not the actual amount printed. All I have found as far as prints made are 51 and obviously the market is not flooded with this poster. Framed it measures 18.25″ wide by 36.25″ tall.
