Vitra Miniature Chair Frank Lloyd Wright Johnson Wax Building, With Box

This chair is a miniature replica of the chairs designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1939 for the Johnson Wax Building. Its round forms echo the curving lines used in the building. His original chair had only 3 legs and after falling off himself when reaching for a book and also receiving complaints from employees, he changed it to four. The back is movable for comfort and posture. I have visited the Johnson Wax building and found the design of the building and furniture inspiring. Miniature desks have been made also. This chair was the 60th miniature to be introduced to the collection and was introduced in 1998. Vitra miniatures present the most important classics in modern design. They feature over 200 modern chairs. The item “VITRA MINIATURE CHAIR FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT JOHNSON WAX BUILDING, WITH BOX” is in sale since Tuesday, February 12, 2019.
