Volumes 1 to 8 are monographs which chronologically survey the development of Wright’s architectural style. Volumes 9 to 11 present selected preliminary studies that were executed in the course of developing Wright’s significant projects, most of which are published for the first time. Volume 12 consists of 200 selected renderings that are often considered works of art in themselves. In order to communicate the exquisite quality of the original works we have paid special attention to the selection of paper in the printing process. These 12 volumes will confirm Wright’s concern for architectural detail, his approach to form and space and the importance of the natural environment that often accommodates his architecture.
