Authentic Museum Quality Frank Lloyd Wright Designed Textured Concrete Block

Designed in 1923 by frank lloyd wright, the charles ennis house was one of wright’s first residential structures constructed of concrete blocks. The ennis house is located in the los feliz neighborhood of los angeles, california. Constructed in 1924 w/ interlocking concrete blocks, the style is sometimes referred to as an example of the “mayan revival style” (inspired by the symmetrical reliefs of mayan buildings in uxmal). Beginning in 2005, the ennis house foundation began much needed rehabilitation to the exterior facade. During this time a few original textured blocks were removed. We were incredibly fortunate to acquire an original. 24 by 12 inches. The condition is remarkable, considering age.
